It takes about 5 hours to get up to glass armor, and by then your enchantment should be 100 so you can double enchant and make more money. Go from town to town, general goods for gems, blacksmith for ingots and strips to forge, mage quarters in castles for gems and enchant. Then it begins.įorge Iron Daggers, enchant with petty or lesser (Absorb health preferably, or Turn Undead), then sell. Eventually you will have enough capital to invest in ingots and strips. If you do not have enough money to invest in ingots and strips just steal daggers and swords lying around. Try to buy petty gems and lesser gems that are filled. Donate a gold to a beggar, go from town to town and stock up on as much iron and leather/strips as you can. Make sure you have the thieves guild hood for the 10% price alteration, try and get an amulet as well and invest in speech perk tree. I recently, and by that I mean this weekend, ran a merchants character to max out smithing, enchantment, Illusion, and Speech (only got to 60 on this one).
